The hall was packed full of students, all ready to listen to Dr. Banner. You sat towards the front of the room, close enough to get a good view of the man. Bruce was the reason you had been drawn into the complicated subject of Physics, something that was as interesting as it was hard. Luckily for you, you had a natural talent when it came to science.
As Bruce entered the room you unwrapped a lollipop in your favorite flavor, quickly popping it into your mouth. Bruce was every bit as handsome as you had thought. With dark eyes, and long slightly graying hair, you couldn’t help but admire him. He slipped on a pair of glasses before nervously approaching the lectern.
His eyes scanned the crowd as he spoke. “Good morning everyone, I’m Dr. Banner.”
You smirked as his eyes lingered on you; this lecture was going to be fun.
Slowly pulling the lollipop from your mouth you watched as Bruce gestured to the presentation he had made. Once again, his eyes met yours; you took this as an invitation to commence you plan. You sucked on the lollipop seductively, keeping your eyes focused on the Dr. A light blush came to his cheeks and he stammered slightly, though he obviously tried to ignore it. Smirking, you stepped up your game. You wrapped your tongue around the little orb of candy, mimicking an expression of pure bliss.
Bruce nervously ran a hand through his dark locks, as he stared at you slightly stunned. He was so red that a tomato would be jealous of his rosiness. You gave him a wink as the other students mumbled in confusion.
Clearing his throat he continued. “I-I’m sorry…. Guess I got a little distracted. As I was saying…”
After class you approached him, mischievous smirk on your lips. “Bruce.”
He looked up from the papers he was shuffling, pretending he hadn’t recognized you. “Hello.”
Leaning over the lectern you arched an eyebrow. “Do you want some of my lollipop?”
“Ahh….” The papers fell to the floor scattering everywhere. “D-did Tony put you up to this?”
You smiled, loving his awkwardness. “Nope, I’m doing this of my own accord. So… do you?” Tilting your head, a better idea came to mind. “Or I could always try yours?”
“M-mine?” At this point his eyes were as wide as saucers.
You could no longer hold it together; the laughter just erupted. “I’m sorry, I just had to,” Wiping away tears you smiled sheepishly. “You should have seen your face.”
As he crouched down to pick up his papers, you noted the slight, very slight, disappointment on the good doctors’ face.
“You know Bruce…”
You handed him a pile that you had collected. “I don’t quite understand some of the topics we visited today,” A total lie. “Do you think we could talk them over dinner?”
Removing his glasses he looked at you skeptically. “And have you stand me up?”
“Why would I do that? I’d be more worried about it being the other way around.”
Shaking your head you turned to leave, you had really screwed up this time.
Groaning he called after you. “What don’t you understand? I can’t do dinner, but I can do coffee.”
You smirked. “And lollipops?”
Sighing he picked up his briefcase. “I wish I could say that didn’t sound appealing. But perhaps we should get to know each other first.”
“Of course, My name is ______ by the way.”
